Understanding the structure
This Job Search Tracker is built around 2 databases:
- Applications Tracker and Tasks Tracker.
Each database is designed to solve daily job searching challenges for you in an easy way.
Getting Started: creating a job application
- Go to Applications Tracker and create an application
- Set the Application Status (Under Study by default) and the Application Date
- Add the Job Post url (if any)
- Add the Job Title and Company Name
- You’ll see that “New Application” will be automatically modified 😉
- Below fields will be populated automatically
Adding Tasks to a Job Application
It can be hectic thinking what to do next on a job application if you don’t have it clearly written. Therefore, within your application you can create tasks:
- Related to a certain type: Application, Follow-up, Research, Networking…
- Set a status: Not Started, In Progress, Done.
- Add a Due Date.
- Add Notes (if needed)
